FIRST RIDE OF 2022

On the first day of 2022, Eight Harleys and 10 folks rode 61+ miles round trip for a short but enjoyable ride and a GREAT meal at El Cazador Mexican Restaurant in Cameron, NC. It was officially the first ride of the 2022!
TAMARAC MARINA RIDE

Todays “No Reason” ride. Six bikes, six riders headed out for what was planned to be a ride to Scallywags at Baden Lake. They were unexpectedly closed today so, we ended up at Tamarac Marina in Salisbury NC. Food was excellent and worth the trip. Other than a little light drizzle to start out the ride we managed to stay dry the rest of the day. 156 miles round trip. Great wind therapy with great fellowship.

And it was when we left Cox's Double Eagle Harley-Davidson...so it was a careful trip to River Wild with 6 folks and 6 bikes. The ride home was much better. Of course, the great food and atmosphere at River Wild did not disappoint! So, was this the last ride of the year? Who knows?

What a GREAT December day for a Ride! A special "HOG Thanks" to Mike Kimbrell for the open invitation to ride with him to Finn Oliver's Buffet Restaurant in Lumberton, NC. We had seven Harley-Davidsons and nine Harley-Davidson folks on the 118 mile round trip ride. The weather was fantastic at a sunny 60-70 degrees for most of the ride. Stay tuned for the next "spur of the moment" ride. These are GREAT opportunities for us to invite folks that aren't members and even those who are foolishly out there riding metrics! Pay special attention to the weather...if it's even CLOSE to nice out...LET'S RIDE!
